Crock Pot Orange Sweet Rolls Will Surely Be Your New Favorite Dessert

When you are cooking for your entire family, or hosting a dinner party, it can be hard to decide on a menu that will please everyone and taste good too. While you may have to play it safe at dinner time, dessert is the time express your creativity because just about everyone loves a little something sweet, especially these Crock Pot Orange Sweet Rolls.

You will need 7 tablespoons salted butter, ½ cup brown sugar, 1—8 ounce can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls, and ⅓ cup orange marmalade. For the orange glaze, 1 tablespoon salted butter, melted, 1 cup powdered sugar, zest and juice of 1 orange.

Start by stirring 3 tablespoons of melted butter and ¼ cup brown sugar into the bottom of the Crock-Pot.

Next, unroll the crescent dough and pinch seams together. Spread evenly with 5 tablespoons of softened butter. Next, past the orange marmalade on top of the butter, then sprinkle brown sugar on top of that. Roll the dough tightly into a log, and cut into 8—1 inch wide pieces.

Place the buns in the Crock-Pot and cook on high for 1-2 hours until the bottoms of the buns are golden brown.

Top with glaze and serve warm.

To make the glaze, get a cup or jar and add the powdered sugar, melted butter, and orange zest. Cut the orange in half and squeeze in just enough juice to make a glaze. Stir with a fork everything is smooth and combined. If the glaze is too thin, you can add more powdered sugar. Pour over the top of the buns for the best taste.
